Abel is the most decorated Canadian ever at the FINA World Championships. She i s one of the few female divers to compete the “double twist”, a dive typically only performed by the men. In her fourth Olympic appearance, Abel won silver in the 3m synchro event with Citrini-Beaulieu and eighth individually.
