Skater, Keegan Messing competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Messing began competing for Canada during the 2014-15 season after having represented the United States since the start of his career. After winning silver at the 2018 Canadian Championships, Messing made his Olympic debut at PyeongChang 2018, where he placed 12th. A month later, he posted an eighth-place finish at his first world championships, making him the top-ranked Canadian man at the event. Messing won another bronze at the Canadian championships in January 2020 but was not selected for the world championship team. In December 2021, Messing won his second career gold medal on the ISU Challenger Series with a victory at the Golden Spin of Zagreb. He won his first national title in 2022.

Le patineur Keegan Messing a participé aux Jeux olympiques d'hiver de 2022. Messing a commencé à représenter le Canada au cours de la saison 2014-2015 après avoir représenté les États-Unis depuis le début de sa carrière. Après avoir remporté l'argent aux Championnats canadiens de 2018, Messing a fait ses débuts olympiques à PyeongChang 2018, où il s'est classé 12e. Un mois plus tard, il a affiché une huitième place à ses premiers championnats du monde, faisant de lui l'homme canadien le mieux classé de l'événement. Messing a remporté un autre bronze aux championnats canadiens en janvier 2020, mais n'a pas été sélectionné pour l'équipe des championnats du monde.
